Letter to Employer Requesting Mental Health Leave

I am writing to request a favor from you. Over the past few months, I have been facing increased anxiety levels due to a combination of personal and work-related factors. I, therefore, need some time off from work for the sake of my mental health.

I have been feeling mentally exhausted and stressed. As a result, I fail to focus on my work. My productivity has declined, and I have been unable to fulfill my job responsibilities with the same dedication as I did before. I believe taking some time away from the stressful environment of the office will be helpful. I’ll be able to relax for a while and restore my mental health.

I would like to discuss a suitable time with you for a two-week leave. Please let me know when you will be free to discuss the matter.

I am looking forward to your response. I will be grateful for your cooperation and understanding.

I am writing to request a one-month leave from the office. I have been struggling with mental health issues due to some personal problems. I suffer from periods of chronic depression. Following my physician’s advice, I would need a break from work to focus on my mental health.

My mental condition makes it impossible for me to concentrate on my job duties. However, once I take a break, I will be able to recover through self-therapy practices recommended by my doctor.

I understand the impact of my long absence from work. My team will be short-staffed and might struggle to achieve work goals. However, I offer to be available by phone and email for urgent tasks.

I would appreciate it if you approved my leave request. Thank you for being so understanding.

I am reaching out to request due to serious mental health issues. Over the past week, I have been experiencing severe anxiety attacks. As a result, I find it difficult to manage my workload effectively.

To address these issues, I believe I must take some time away from work. It will help me focus on self-care and seek professional assistance. Moreover, this break will prevent further deterioration of my mental well-being.

I am well aware that my absence from the office may cause challenges for my team. Therefore, I am not requesting a long leave. Instead, I will try to deal with my mental health issues within a week. I believe this time is sufficient to help me recover.

Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your support and cooperation.

I am writing to bring an important matter to your attention. I have recently been diagnosed with clinical depression. My doctor has advised me to take some days off from work. I, therefore, request that you approve my leave request.

Please find enclosed a copy of my medical reports for office records. I have also attached the doctor’s note that recommends leave from work.

I would appreciate your support during this time. I will be grateful for your cooperation.

I would like to request a two-week leave from work, starting from Monday, April 15th, to April 30th. The leave request is on account of my mental health issues. I would appreciate your support and cooperation.

I have been feeling overwhelmed with the workload lately. My doctor has suggested a break from the office and a much-needed vacation. I might be traveling to the northern areas during my leave for a change of weather and routine. I’m confident that I will be able to alleviate my stress through this break.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your approval.
